My friend’s hearing aid broke one of the first days we were on vacation in Hawaii. We were able to get in to see Dr David Bettorf who came in early to meet us. During the 15 minutes he spent with us, he not only repaired an older hearing aid, but was able to educate us on what to expect from the audiologist back home, things to ask for and a plan of care going forward. He is competent, compassionate, and has excellent patient care skills. He was up-beat and positive. His care greatly improved the rest of our vacation. Highly recommend!

When I found out I needed hearing aids I went to Hearing Aids of Hawaii to see what hearing aid options were available. I met with David and he tested my hearing to determine my needs. He set me up with a device that exceeded my expectations! Not only are my hearing aids very comfortable and barely visible, but they are also rechargeable and connect to my phone via a bluetooth connection. And that’s not all. I also got the clip on mic that allows me to talk on my phone without having to hold my phone. Hearing the phone call in my hearing aids does not only give me a clear and crisp sound, it also is not a distraction to others. But why stop there. I also got the TV adapter. Now I can listen to TV in my ears without having the TV volume on. It’s so amazing!!! Thank you David for your patience and expertise. I never knew hearing could be so much fun.

I called Hearing Aids of Hawaii yesterday as one of my hearing aids was in need of repair, and no other facilities on the island were able to help me. David said to come in and he’d take a look at it. Literally within 5 minutes the repair was made without any muss or fuss. When my hearing aids need replacement, I will definitely be heading back to David and Hearing Aids of Hawaii. He’s got a new patient for life!
